Dark Emergency GOF

Global Offensive Force

The Global Offensive Force, or GOF for short, is an independent special forces unit not subordinate to any government. Its existence only became officially known in the late 1980s, when a hostage situation at the British Embassy in Egypt was filmed. Little is known about the GOF's founding itself, but it is believed to be one of the oldest special forces units.

The Global Offensive Force (GOF) operates worldwide and consists of little more than 1,000 soldiers. Membership in the GOF is subject to the highest level of secrecy, as the command staff does not wish to publicly disclose its involvement in military operations. In addition to counterterrorism, the special forces unit's tasks include the destruction of weapons of mass destruction and their facilities. Numerous counterterrorism operations, reconnaissance missions, and sabotage operations are likely attributable to them. Training is subject to the strictest secrecy. However, it is known that the GOF recruits its members from the world's most prestigious special forces units. Great emphasis is placed on integrity and impeccable ethical conduct during the selection process. In recent years, the GOF has critically monitored the developments of the Cryo Genetic Group (KGG). Although it has not yet been possible to obtain precise information about KGG's research or even to prove the existence of biological weapons, the corporation has been classified as a global threat. The command staff has therefore decided to carry out a large-scale attack right into the heart of the Kryo Genetic Group in Mahlwinkel.
