M24H Scenario

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCENARIO

The Mission 24h is a 24-hour airsoft operation. The game will be played continuously for 24 hours, including nighttime, according to the familiar Airsoft Heroes rules (Hit, Medic, Joule limits, etc.) on the playing field in Mahlwinkel!

Team affiliation is identifiable by the dress code. At night, hit players are marked with flashing light-up wristbands as an alternative to the usual death rag.

Ammunition is included in the ticket price.

Headquarters

Each faction has a headquarters. You will be taken to this headquarters, and from there you will operate during the game. The factions will be assigned their respective missions there. The headquarters are safe zones where shooting is prohibited. Players from other factions may only enter the enemy's headquarters upon request (e.g., as part of a scenario/LARP).

It is possible to stay overnight in the accommodations and store your sleeping mat, cot, equipment, etc. there. The sleeping areas where personal belongings are stored are "out-of-time" and will not be used for play.

After the game, the accommodations will be available until departure on Sunday. The Esco Bar will also remain open for the after-event party.

LARP

The OP Mission 24h is an airsoft event with LARP elements, such as arrests, interrogations, negotiations with informants, etc. On the one hand, players have the opportunity to interact with each other, even across party lines. On the other hand, the game management team simulates various LARP situations that can be resolved "non-violently" within the framework of the role-playing game.

A "civilian zone" is designated on the playing field where these scenarios are regularly depicted. Here, the Task Force, the Cartel, and the Rebels initially face each other neutrally.

Mission system

The missions, revolving around the drug conflict between the Task Force, the cartel and the rebels, are issued by the respective leaders in the game.

Here, a specific goal is set and various ways to achieve it are described. Players are free to choose how they achieve this goal, and it can be accomplished in several different ways.

Esco Bar

During the operation, you can stop by the Esco Bar for a snack or a cold drink. The Esco Bar is a safe zone and accessible to all players.

ammunition

Ammunition is rationed during the event. Before the event, a corresponding amount, depending on the faction, is distributed to the HQs and then given to players under certain conditions. Additionally, ammunition can be earned by completing missions.

Each player receives a fixed amount of ammunition as a starting allocation at the beginning of the game.

Chronology

  • S-AEG: All known short and long guns that do not fall into the other categories
  • GBB: All known short and long firearms that do not fall into the other categories
  • SNIPER: This includes all airsoft guns approved in Germany that have a minimum overall length of over 1 meter and are clearly recognizable as sniper weapons (e.g., bolt-action weapons based on real-world models). Caution! Simply mounting a scope and a long silencer on an M4, etc., is not sufficient!
  • MG: All machine guns that are also used in real units (e.g., M249, M60, MK43, RPD, M240, etc.)
  • Secondary weapon/backup: Pistols as GBBs and NBBs, as well as S-AEGs with white markings
  • HPA systems: Adjustable compressed air systems with an external pressure vessel are permitted if the organization can secure the system against tampering, e.g., using a cable tie.
  • Full auto firing is ONLY permitted for machine guns with a muzzle energy of less than 0.5 joules. The use of full auto mode is prohibited for AEPs and AEGs with a white marking!

Light-up armbands

At Mission 24H, the glow-in-the-dark armbands are an essential piece of equipment and are now included in the ticket price. These flexible wristbands serve an important function during the game, especially at night. Used as hit markers, they signal a successful hit and, at night, function like a high-visibility vest or death rag. The unique feature is that they don't need to glow continuously, so as not to interfere with your night vision goggles. Instead, they only need to be activated once you've been hit and eliminated from the game. The armbands will be distributed at the event upon registration.
